We operate workshops in Cameroon where our unique products are painstakingly hand crafted by a team of local talents. We apply international standards to achieve intricate details and beautiful finishing. Our team is at the heart of the brand and our most long-standing tailor has been with us from the inception. We aim to improve local production capabilities, reduce reliance on imports, preserve African craftsmanship and enhance the Made in Africa Brand.
Circularity
Our operating model embraces speed to market and we produce in smaller amounts using a lot of end-of-line fabrics. We recycle small leftover pieces of fabric into patchwork for other designs.
Empowerment
We directly support the empowerment of women who make up ~80% of our staff. We offer flexibility and subsided childcare and high quality education so our staff can not only balance their lives but be able to work in the first place. Our workshops are safe and comfortable and we pay wages that are above average and certainly well above minimum wage.
We celebrate African culture with our designs and make them more wearable and accessible to a wide range of people, enhancing the visibility of the continent on a global scale.
